Gosh - where to start? Another masterpiece by Lydia Edwards. Essential for the beginner, and comprehensive enough to be a happy companion for any seasoned fashion historian. A fun, easy read, rich with visual detail and dense with information. Great pictures with accentuated details, historical prologues to each section, and the information is of course accurate. Again, I cannot recommend Edwards as an author enough and I CANNOT wait to see what she does next! "How to Read a Dress" and "How to Read a Suit" are a match made in heaven, and you MUST PURCHASE them BOTH!
